Designs to make your own
Indicative build cost only, based on a standard TC2 raft foundation on a flat, ready-to-build site. Excludes land, site works, driveways, fencing and landscaping. How long does building a new home take, step by step?+
From signing a fixed-price contract to receiving your keys, most Advance Homes builds run nine to twelve months: three to four months for design, working drawings and building consent, six to ten weeks to finalise specification and pricing, five to eight months on site, then one to two weeks to practical completion and handover. Starting from one of our existing home designs speeds this up, because the drawings are proven and consenting tends to run more smoothly. Straightforward single-storey homes on flat sections sit at the faster end of these ranges; larger two-storey homes, complex sites and fully bespoke designs take longer.
